The Wave...worth doing...worth repeating

Thank you, JT and Little T for providing our permits to this wonderful hike.  Wildbound and Wild Kids went too...so much fun...I loved it all, even the sucky sand valleys.
The campground did have a pool, but it wasn't heated.  The worst part about camping was the MOSQUITOES!!
The gorgeous sunrise as we drove to the trailhead.

Bags ready to go at the Wire Pass Trailhead

Our own "Rocky Ridge"

"The map says to go over that ridge, but the GPS says the other saddle...Wait a minute, it's that one.  No, it's that one.  The GPS is flippin."
"Hey GPS Bob, if you don't stop flippin with that GPS, we will be flippin you!"

Tadpoles in the Water Pockets.

Top Rock Arch

Remnants of the flash flood a couple of days before
On the hike in....sand, sage and rock features
Human Sand Timer

Lots of critter tracks
Yay!  Water Pockets!

Our campsite wasn't too bad.  However, the second afternoon it was so windy and dusty, we packed up and went to St. George and spent a much more comfortable night with Bethany.

I'd go again, too. In an eye blink.
